Job overview

We require an exceptional Head of Drama and Performing Arts who will deliver lessons that will inspire students to succeed and who will promote high standards of teaching and learning within an outstanding and well-resourced department.

You will teach Drama and Performing Arts to KS5 and the ability to teach a second subject and a willingness to teach across the Expressive Arts range of subjects would be desirable.

We would welcome a team player who is keen to work collaboratively and contribute to a strong ethos of sharing good practice, resources and ideas.

You will be committed to raising students' achievement and will play a key role in the development of the school as we continue to successfully raise standards.

Brine Leas School is a mixed, non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11 to 18.

The secondary school has approximately 1,390 pupils. It opened in 1977 as a comprehensive school and is located in Nantwich, Cheshire, in north west England.

Brine Leas School became an academy in 2010 and is part of The Cornovii Trust. The Brine Leas sixth form opened in 2010.
