The Governors of St Angela’s Ursuline School are seeking to appoint an outstanding and dynamic leader with a proven track record of success at KS3, 4 & 5 to lead our Drama department to the next stage of its development.

The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire and lead colleagues with passion and a commitment to enhancing the achievement in Drama for students of all abilities.

St Angela’s Ursuline is an ‘outstanding’ heavily over- subscribed Catholic girls’ school with a large mixed sixth form where Drama is extremely popular.

This is an excellent opportunity to undertake the leadership of a vibrant department, in a recently designated Teaching school, to develop the next generation of Drama teachers and students.

St Angela's Ursuline School is a voluntary aided school based in Newham in London for girls aged 11-18. It is a Roman Catholic school.

The school was built in 1862 by the sisters of the Ursuline order, inspired by the vision of their founder and the school’s namesake.

Approximately 90% of the school’s population are from ethnic minority backgrounds.
