We are looking for someone who is an excellent classroom practitioner and is committed to providing the very best outcomes for all of our students. You will be passionate about Economics and Business Studies and able to teach at Key Stages 4 and 5.
You will provide the vision and strategic direction to a committed and hardworking team and be determined to raise and sustain student progress and achievement. As a middle leader you will have impact both within your department and across the wider school.

Blue Coat is a successful and oversubscribed school in the heart of the city of Coventry. As a Christian school our intake draws from both the local area and across the city and surrounding areas. Consequently we have a diverse intake and a culturally thriving school. The school was graded 'Outstanding' in its SIAMS inspection and 'Good' by Ofsted in May 2023 with 3 'Outstanding' categories. Our most recent Progress 8 score was +0.42. The vast majority of our students stay on into the sixth form and continue their studies.
We have a large and successful Post 16 provision with 350 pupils on average studying either A levels or Vocational Level 3 courses. We have excellent rates of progression to universities, apprenticeships and employment.
