This is an exciting opportunity to teach A Level Economics  at one of the most successful schools in England.

We seek an enthusiastic graduate. High energy levels and good inter-personal skills will be essential. There is also an opportunity to lead the school's EPQ programme. The post is suitable for a NQT.

Set in a beautiful 45-acre Surrey site, the school enjoys excellent facilities and an aspirational learning environment. Recognised by HM Chief Inspector of Schools as one of England’s finest non-selective schools, Gordon’s has circa 840 students including 240 residential boarders and a thriving sixth form.

In 2017, the percentage of students achieving five or more GCSE grades A* to C, including English and mathematics, was 92%, which ranks Gordon’s in the 10 top non-selective schools in England. The A*-C pass rate at A-Level was 90%, with 72% of the grades A* to B.

Massively over-subscribed, Gordon’s size ensures that every pupil is well known and nurtured as an individual. The School has a very strong emphasis on academic standards, self-discipline and traditional values and aims to be much more than just outstanding examination results, providing abundant opportunities outside the classroom and exceptional pastoral care.
