To assist in the delivery of the Plan, Warwickshire County Council is seeking an experienced, imaginative Head of Education & Learning to be the Council’s Lead Officer for Education and Learning. Reporting to the Strategic Director - Communities, you will be part of the Council’s Senior Leadership Team responsible for leading services that ensure that every child and young person in Warwickshire will attend a good or outstanding school, achieve well whatever their starting point or circumstances and go on to positive destinations, promoting high levels of achievement and attainment. You will achieve this through effective relationships with colleagues in other directorates and by developing strong partnerships with external partners and local communities.

Proven significant experience and a track record of achievement at senior management level within an organisation of comparable scope, size and complexity is essential. You will have experience of successfully leading the complete full-cycle transformation of services whilst meeting targets and have led partnerships across a range of professional and organisational boundaries to deliver improved outcomes. An expert in education with strong leadership skills, you will lead from the front, with the vision to develop a modern, effective service with exceptional outcomes for customers.
