Part of Young Foundations, Stafford Hall School is a children’s residential school for children and young people aged 11 to 19 who have autism, severe and complex learning difficulties, and who exhibit other associated challenging behaviours. We require a Head of Education to lead a team of specialist staff in delivering the highest quality of clinically informed education within the school.

About The Role

Reporting to the Regional Director and the School’s Governing Body, you will have significant knowledge of this client group and a proven track record of delivering high quality outcomes within the regulatory framework set by Ofsted; who currently rate the school as “good” following its’ most recent inspection. Experience of the Head of Education role is essential along with the ability to work with clinicians, care staff and other professionals to ensure that the young people at Stafford Hall School receive the highest quality of education.

You should be highly motivated and have a genuine interest in developing the education young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours receive. You should have experience in achieving high quality teaching outcomes across all disciplines, supporting staff and learners as to maximise achievement and deliver continuous improvement within the school.

You will be a qualified teacher with NPQH attainment, and have both previous experience working within a leadership role and significant experience in a working with challenging young people.
