This post provides an opportunity for an experienced senior manager to lead a team of managers and provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure effective management, delivery and development over a diverse range of services including Pre-Five, Primary and Secondary Education, Support for Young People with ASL, Psychological Services, Quality Improvement in Schools, Curriculum Support, Communications, Service Policy and Performance. This is a challenging role and you will therefore need to bring extensive leadership experience within a large complex and multi functional organisation. You will be able to demonstrate continuous improvement, as well as managing complex and strategic issues to deliver improved outcomes whilst ensuring that schools are supported and challenged to improve attainment. In addition you will have a successful track record in leading and managing organisational and culture change along with financial management and risk management experience within a large complex organisation. Working knowledge and experience of the elements of the Service to be managed is essential.
