The Headmistress is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Head of English and Drama to teach English to Years 5&6 and Drama throughout the school.

The successful candidate will:

  • have Qualified Teacher Status with experience of teaching KS2 English
  • have the ability to engage and inspire pupils, staff and parents
  • demonstrate an enthusiasm for the acquisition of literacy across the whole school
  • display a passion for English and Drama which is evident in day to day classroom practice
  • be able to direct and produce school productions
  • have an understanding of the London day school system and preparing pupils for competitive exams in Year 6 
  • be an effective communicator with parents and colleagues both in and out of school
  • be highly motivated and able to motivate others.
