We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to join our school as Curriculum Team Leader for English. 

Enthusiastic, talented and inspirational, the successful candidate will have the drive and passion to ensure that we are providing challenging and engaging English provision which will allow all of our students to make excellent progress.

The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge and understanding of current developments in the teaching of English, as well as the ability to think strategically.

As Curriculum Team Leader, the ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and will be able to inject their enthusiasm for the subject not only within students but also across the English department and the school as a whole.

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate eager to join King's Norton Boys' School as it builds on its upward trajectory.  Our English GCSE results are very strong with an English Progress score of 0.11 (2017-8) and we expect to continue this upward trajectory in order that all our students can achieve their aspirations and reach their full potential.

Each and every staff member at our school are united in their focus on continuous improvement and we work collaboratively to support one another across the school as a whole.  The culture that 'we are all learners' exists throughout the school.  This post includes potential career development opportunities as the role could develop into Head of Communication Faculty in the future.

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Monday May 20th 2019 and interviews will be held on the 22nd or 23rd May.
