SUIS Wuxi is a new IB school within the Shanghai United International Schools family, having only opened 3 years ago. This is a wonderful opportunity to help contribute to a growing school during its next phase of development that draws upon over 20 years experience of SUIS “Where East Meets West” international education.

We are looking for teachers available from August 2016:
Head of English

We are looking for an outstanding Curriculum Leader to lead our new English team. Applicants will have solid and demonstrable teaching experience as well as experience of forming, motivating and managing a high performing team.
We are seeking to appoint a talented, highly motivated and well-qualified individual who should have a proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching, hold high expectations for all students and staff and be able to develop a clear and inspirational vision for the English Curriculum area in our school.

General requirements of applicants:

  1. Qualified teachers, fluent English speaking with excellent verbal and writing skills;
  2. Holding a degree from a recognized institution (no lower than Bachelor) and a recognized teaching qualification;
  3. With preferably a minimum of two years relevant teaching experience.
  4. ESL, IGCSE and IB DP experience where appropriate would be desirable but not essential.

Shanghai United International School is a Shanghai Xiehe Education Group school located in China. It is a non-selective, non-denominational, bilingual independent all-through school, with a nursery, primary and secondary school.  The school is the largest education provider in Shanghai, welcoming over 19,000 students a year, including 3,500 international students from over 40 countries.
