We are looking for an inspiring English teacher with some experience of leadership and management within their current English department to lead our English team from September 2020.  The vacancy arises due to the promotion of the existing post holder to senior management in a school down in Cornwall.  The successful candidate would be required to teach up to and including A-level.   


The English department consists of 7 members of staff including the Executive Headteacher – Allan Osborne; who are dedicated to realising the potential of all students and have been highly successful in doing so.  In 2020 we are expecting students to be making strong progress way above national averages.  English Literature will be offered in our brand new Post 16 Centre – Ongar 6 in 2020. Exciting times offered at KS5 and results are strong.
