Hatch End High School is a high performing, innovative Academy in Harrow with Arts College status and a large and highly successful Sixth Form. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and outstanding practitioner to lead our English Faculty from September 2017. The successful candidate will have the ability to embrace the inclusive culture and ethos of the school. A strong commitment to raising achievement and standards is required along with an informed and creative approach to curriculum delivery. Students value English and achieve excellent results at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 but we are conscious of the challenges in the reformed courses. English Language, English Literature and Media Studies are popular subjects at A Level with very strong examination results.
The department is very well resourced and benefits from good ICT facilities including use of iPADS.

About Hatch End High School
Hatch End High School is a highly successful multi-cultural Academy located in Harrow, London.
Sixth-form facilities were opened on the site in 2010 and a brand new rebuild in 2019. The school currently has approximately 1,250 students aged 11-18, including 270 in the Sixth Form.
