Founded in 1704, Watford Grammar School for Girls is one of the country’s most successful schools with exceptional academic standards. We are seeking to appoint a superb classroom practitioner who will promote the highest academic standards and provide strong leadership in a high achieving and scholarly department. Sophisticated interpersonal and communication skills are essential, in addition to a willingness to take part in departmental and whole school activities. The successful candidate will have a clear vision as to how they might lead the development of whole school literacy. This is an opportunity to lead an outstanding team of professionals who teach girls who are enthusiastic and determined to become increasingly sophisticated language users.
