The Academy of St Nicholas is a joint denominational Catholic and Church of England 11-18 Academy in Liverpool with approximately 825 students on roll. We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational Head of English.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding classroom practitioner with leadership experience, a current Second in Department looking for a bigger challenge or a current Head of Subject looking to professionally develop in a different context.

The successful candidate will be passionate about English and about instilling a love for the subject amongst students and teachers. We are particularly interested in candidates who share our commitment to improving the life chances of young people regardless of background.
