We are looking to appoint a talented and dynamic Head of Faculty for English with a proven track record of achievement. Your key duties will include securing high-quality teaching of English at Key Stages 3, 4 & 5; monitoring and evaluating students’ achievements; coordinating student interventions; leading curriculum development and change; developing a programme of training to ensure that the faculty has the leadership and support and teaching expertise necessary to maintain high standards.

The successful candidate will join our ‘Extended Leadership Team’, working closely with other curriculum and pastoral leaders alongside the Senior Leadership Team.

Edmonton County School is looking for an inspirational leader who motivates pupils and staff alike to always strive to do their best and continue to develop the faculty further in its journey towards outstanding outcomes for our students. We aim to recruit a committed and ambitious professional who is keen to develop their talents and leadership experience to lead this large faculty.

Edmonton County School is a co-educational, non-denominational, community all-through school in Enfield, Middlesex. The school is split across two campuses, with the primary phase located on Bury Street and the secondary facilities on Great Cambridge Road. There are about 1,687 children aged 4-18 on the school roll, 278 of whom attend the sixth form.
