The English department at St Mark’s is a place of creativity and excitement. You would have the opportunity to help shape the direction of the department and to ensure that the experiences students have in the classroom are of a very high quality. 

We are looking for someone who is an excellent teacher of English, who is committed to enthusing young people and who is very aspirational on behalf of the students they teach. You will need to have a strong sense of drive and ambition so as to ensure the best possible outcomes for all students and you will need to be passionate about your subject. You will be ably supported by the strong leadership within the Academy and the nurturing and collaborative approach the team employs.
