Due to the retirement of the current Head of Department after 14 years of outstanding service, applications are invited from experienced and well qualified teachers with strong subject knowledge and proven record of success in public examinations to lead the English Department. The department is highly successful; results in public examinations are outstanding and English is a popular subject through the school and at A Level. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative and be committed to high academic standards as well as being able to communicate to young people an enthusiasm for the subject.
