Queen’s College, Taunton is one of the leading independent boarding schools based in the south-west of the country, educating approximately 700 boys and girls from age 0 to 18. There are four boarding houses accommodating over 200 boarders. The school has around 300 permanent staff split approximately 50/50 between academic and support staff. Queen’s College, Taunton, is looking to recruit an experienced, inspirational and dynamic teacher of English to lead and develop the English department from September 2019.
Suitable candidates will have the ability to deliver teaching across the full age range within the Senior School.
The Head of Department is expected to take full responsibility for running the Department as well as contribute to the co-curricular programme within the school. This is an excellent opportunity to join the School and would suit candidates who are looking to further their career within a leadership position.
