Head of English

The Headmaster and Governors of Tockington Manor School seek an experienced and well qualified teacher to lead the English Department within the school. The school enjoys an enviable pass rate at scholarship level at 13+ and the successful candidate must share the schools ethos for nurturing and high standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching both Key Stages 2 and 3 as well as an appreciation of Key Stage 1. Knowledge of Common Entrance at 13+ and of scholarship requirements are desirable as well as a genuine love of teaching and learning. This post would suit a current head of Department or an ambitious teacher looking to enter middle management within a flourishing, stand-alone Prep School.
