Hillcrest – New Barn will be a new independent school for boys and girls with complex needs aged 8 - 16 yrs. The school will cater for children from some of Hillcrest Hampshire’s residential homes; Acorn and Ashley, as well as day pupils.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved from the beginning and shape the future of this fantastic resource.
We have opportunities across the board but in particular we are looking for a Head of English (prepared to teach a second subject). Initially this will be for 6 pupils but this will grow to 20 pupils over time. You should be fully qualified, be passionate and reflective about teaching and learning; have a strong interest in and knowledge of the education of young people with complex needs.
Your role will be varied and will include developing and teaching children aged 8 – 16 years. All courses are accredited through GCSE and up to level 1 and 2 accreditations in all subjects. You will be dedicated to ensuring all young people achieve their very best and committed to ongoing CPD.
