Role

We have the need for a proactive and innovative leader and teacher for our Mathematics faculty.  Responsible for the success of the faculty, you will lead a passionate team of teachers and curriculum managers to provide outstanding results for our students, as well as teach across our middle and senior schools. As part of the leadership team of the school you will build strong relationships within the Kristin and wider communities. Utilising strong business acumen skills, you will be fiscally responsible for the budget and successful outcomes of the Mathematics area.

This role will start January 2017 or sooner if required.

Experience needed

A strong track record of innovation and educational excellence in mathematics is essential for this role, along with NZ Teachers Registration, or the ability to obtain this before starting the role.   Ideally you will have a passion for statistics and be rewarded with teaching engaged students. You will enjoy leading and developing people, along with a proven track record in curriculum development and innovative student initiatives.  Most importantly, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate commitment to Kristin's values and its distinct motto to "Progress with Vision, Integrity and Love".
