We are seeking applications for a dynamic leader to take responsibility for Sport and Physical Education at Ken Stimpson Community School. Whilst initially taking responsibility for these areas, the person appointed will receive excellent support to broaden the role to wider school contexts. This is an ideal opportunity for an outstanding teacher and leader to join a good school, which is moving towards outstanding. The School has very generous PE facilities with a team of six teachers (full and part-time).

Applications will also be accepted from dynamic teachers who are looking for a middle leadership role as Head of Sport and Physical Education.

The Ken Stimpson Academy is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire and there are 1020 pupils on its roll.

As a single site school it has very good facilities, some of which are shared with the local district library and recreational centre. The school also benefits from a two-court floodlit Astroturf area and extensive playing fields.
