About Eden Girls' School, Slough

Eden Girls’ School, Slough is a Muslim faith-based secondary school for 11 to 18 year old girls, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. We opened in 2015 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism. We are extremely proud to be one of the highest performing schools in the country, with a Progress 8 score of +1.19 for our 2019 GCSE results. We were graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted during our first inspection in May 2018.

We have an exemplary reputation for excellence in every aspect of school life. Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a talented individual to provide an exceptional business support service to our pupils, teachers and wider stakeholders. As a key member of our school’s business support team, your expertise will help to deliver an outstanding learning environment for our young people.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and specialist technical skills.  You will have extensive experience of delivering outstanding customer service and possess the ability to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.


You will have:

  • A degree qualification or equivalent.
  • A professional qualification in Business Management (including Certificate / Diploma in School Business Management (CSBM / DSBM), Accountancy, Human Resources and/or Premises Management.
  • Three years’ experience in financial, HR, business and/or premises management
  • Experience of developing effective administrative systems and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of financial standards, and financial procedures and regulations in schools.
  • A clear understanding of the HR and change processes, systems and structures needed to ensure a high quality, professional environment for learning.
