We are seeking an exceptional Head of Finance, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, who will lead the team to deliver the newly defined strategic plan for City Lit - London’s leading provider of further education, delivering over 5000 wide-ranging courses for adults.

Competitive salary plus defined pension scheme + 35 days  leave

This role holds responsibility for financial management reporting, annual budgeting and forecasting processes. A hands on role, the post holder will be responsible for day-to-day management of the finance team, including business analysis, financial accounting & reporting, and payroll.

This is a key role in the Senior Management Team in the delivery of enhanced management and financial information in order to guide and support business decisions within the organisation.

The successful candidate will need to be:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA preferred) with a relevant, post-qualified skill set geared towards planning, analysis, KPI’s and business partnering;
  • A natural communicator and strong team leader, capable of driving a closer partnering relationship within the College, with a commercial and pragmatic approach;
