Head of Foundation Stage
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a thorough knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum. Our new Head will need to have a minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Years, as well as some leadership training.
In fulfilling the requirements of the post, the successful candidate will demonstrate essential professional competencies:
- An inspirational leader with a proven track record in an Early Years setting
- A thorough knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum
- At least 5 years in a leadership role in the UK or internationally
- Proven success at driving improvement in standards of teaching and learning
- An ability to create high performing teams
- An ability to understand and support the needs of EAL learners
- A strong sense of equality for all, leading by example, being accessible and approachable
- Promoting the wider aspirations and values of the school
- A role model in terms of enthusiasm, drive and commitment
