We seek an inspirational, motivated and enthusiastic Head of Geography to lead our Longcroft team. You will be committed to providing guidance, support and care for all staff and pupils ensuring that they feel safe, are effectively engaged in their learning and achieve well.

This is a particularly exciting time to be part of our team at Longcroft School and Sixth Form. We have just secured the best results in the school’s history across the curriculum. As a school we currently work closely with the Wolds Learning Partnership, which creates a huge range of opportunities including a unique suite of high-quality professional development.

Situated in beautiful surroundings on the outskirts of the popular market town of Beverley, Longcroft offers motivated and well-behaved students, dedicated staff, a committed and experienced governing body and supportive parents.

As an 11-19 school with a rapidly growing sixth form and lower school, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across the age and ability range including to A-Level. Longcroft School and Sixth Form is a mixed non-selective, non-denominational, comprehensive secondary school, situated in Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The school, which was officially opened in May 1951, is situated on a 50-acre site. The recently refurbished school buildings are surrounded by extensive green areas and sports pitches, along with an all-weather 3G pitch.
