We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and well-qualified graduate to the post of Head of Geography at the College.

You will lead a successful department of seven full-time teachers, currently offering AQA GCSE and A Level Geography. Your academic credentials will be strong, and you will be capable of teaching Geography at all levels in the College, through to preparation for elite universities. An outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to inspire pupils and staff, you will be driven to ensure that the quality of teaching and learning in the Department is of the highest calibre, and you will, in collaboration with the Department, create and implement effective strategies to achieve your ambitious aims. A strong leader and a visible presence, you will also be fully conversant with the effective use of ICT to improve learning, planning and administration. You will work closely with, and be responsible for the work of, the Geography Department technician.
