We are looking for an inspirational and innovative leader of geography to take our faculty to the next level and to contribute to our international vision at Stantonbury International School. The faculty is energetic and enthusiastic; the successful candidate will continue to raise standards, strengthen partnerships and ensure positive outcomes for all our students. We have increased numbers of geographers working their way through to KS4 and the successful candidate will be able to develop a new A-Level course. The new post-holder will work closely with the head of faculty on. The school is moving towards the delivery of IB at KS3 and KS5.
You will be:
- An excellent classroom practitioner with an understanding of how children learn
- Able to teach geography to A Level
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Someone with a clear vision of the role of geography in developing young people’s understanding of themselves and others and their role in the world
