About the College

Penryn College is a lively thriving college with an excellent reputation who cater for boys and girls aged between 11 and 16 years with a current number on roll of 1135 and we pride ourselves on offering the very best for our students.

In 2008 we moved into our £24 million pound new school building, which has a great range of resources, including an information rich environment, state of the art sporting facilities including a 6 badminton court size sports hall, the latest generation astro turf pitch, our own climbing wall and now includes iPads for every student to support their independent learning.

Our College buildings and 10 acres of grounds are used extensively by the community for adult education courses, sporting activities, performances and fund raising activities. Our unique relationship with surrounding primary schools - known as the "Penryn Partnership" - helps primary children to settle in to the college whilst adjusting to their new environment.

In July 2011 we became an Academy and are committed to maintaining all those things that staff, pupils and the community value about Penryn College.
