The Excel Academy is looking to appoint an ambitious individual who has a thirst for Geography and who will take the lead in the teaching and learning of Geography at The Excel Academy. A key focus is to continue to raise attainment and enjoyment in Geography. The Geography team consists of highly qualified, effective practitioners: we are looking for an inspiring individual to join us and drive improvement further.
The successful candidate will develop innovative strategies to improve the quality of our delivery. They will be committed to the highest standards of achievement and will be an outstanding practitioner, with a clear vision and a good track record in raising standards. We offer high quality leadership professional development opportunities which makes this role appropriate not only for current heads of department, but also those aspiring to take on their first significant leadership role. There may be the opportunity of a wider academy role for the right candidate.
