We are seeking to appoint a Head of Department with the determination to sustain and develop the passion for geography in the school. The post holder will lead a team of well qualified professionals, promoting academic excellence in all key stages. 

There is an expectation that the successful candidate will engage in research led development to enhance departmental pedagogy; this could in time develop in to a whole school responsibility depending on their skill and experience. 

The candidate must have strong leadership and management ability, be committed to high standards for students and staff, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a willingness to take part in Department and whole school events.
