Head of German

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced teacher of German to join our vibrant and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages Department. The post holder will take overall responsibility for the professional leadership and management of the German department to ensure that high standards of teaching and learning are delivered, resources are used efficiently and the curriculum is managed and developed in accordance with the school policies.

Working closely with the other language subjects, the successful candidate will lead a thriving department and support the Head of Modern Foreign Languages in developing and promoting Modern Foreign Languages throughout the school.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in teaching throughout all key stages and the experience and ability to provide inspirational leadership to our German department. The ability to offer French to at least Key Stage 4 is strongly desirable.
