Lambrook is an award-winning independent day and boarding preparatory school for 530 girls and boys set in a stunning 52 acre estate in Berkshire. Lambrook offers excellence in independent education and attracts, develops and inspires some of the country’s best teaching talent. The school is forward-thinking yet traditional with a strong family ethos and an excellent reputation.

Founded in 1860, Lambrook has sought to provide the best possible foundations for each and every one of its pupils. Over the years, a number of facilities have been added including a well-equipped Science and IT block, a new Pre Prep building, an all-weather pitch and a senior classroom block built around a refurbished squash court. In February 2013, doors opened to a state of the art Performing Arts Centre and this was followed by a complete renovation of a classroom block to add additional teaching areas to cater for our healthy pupil numbers. Doors to a new 25m indoor swimming pool opened in 2015 to further enhance the existing range of outstanding facilities at Lambrook. An exciting £6m Art, Design, IT and classroom development will be completed in September 2018.

In our recent inspection, Lambrook was rated 'excellent’ in every area examined from the quality of pupils’ achievements in learning, provision of boarding and extra-curricular activities, through to the care we provide to our pupils. Lambrook was awarded School of the Year 2016 by Tatler.

Lambrook is seeking to appoint a talented and dynamic individual to lead the  Girls’ Sport Department and teach Physical education. The successful candidate will have a natural ability to inspire and motivate the girls and staff to achieve their potential in a wide range of sports while  delivering a high standard of coaching and teaching.

Lambrook girls have the opportunity to learn a wide range of sports over the course of the  academic year; these include Hockey, Netball, Lacrosse, Rounders, Tennis and Athletics. Lambrook also has an extensive extra-curricular activity programme which offers the pupils the opportunity to participate and compete in swimming galas, biathlons, triathlons as well  as riding, golf, dance and skiing competitions.

Sport at Lambrook covers a wide range of activities to allow every girl the opportunity to discover their true potential during their time at Prep school. If you are keen to lead an enthusiastic team of coaches then we would welcome your application.
