The Hawthorns School seeks an enthusiastic and inspiring Head of Girls’ Games to join our vibrant and successful Sports department in this busy school.  The successful candidate will provide vision and leadership and will inspire high standard of teaching and learning of girls’ sport from Early Years to Year 8, enabling pupils to develop and maintain a love of sport.  Our mission is to prepare each child for life and inspire a love of learning.

The successful candidate will have a warm approach, show initiative and be prepared for wider involvement in in co-curricular activities.  There may also be the option for the successful candidate to teach PE and Swimming, as well as wider areas of the curriculum, depending on specialist subject knowledge and experience.
