Southam College is a high performing, oversubscribed and innovative 11-18 school set in the heart of Warwickshire close to Coventry, Leamington, Banbury and Leicester. In 2014 we were rated as ‘outstanding’ for the second time by Ofsted and in 2017 79% of students achieved Grade 4 and above in English and Maths. Our progress 8 score for 2017 was 0.51. We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational Head of Health and Social Care to join our successful team and cover a period of maternity leave from May 2018. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, committed Teacher of Health and Social care with excellent subject knowledge, working in an outstanding department. The successful applicant will be a forward thinker with a focus on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences and a belief in our ‘can do’ culture where anything is possible. Passion is at the heart of our practice and it is essential that you have the ability to enthuse and motivate those around you.
