The Head of Higher Education will play a key role in the College achieving its TEF ambitions and the regeneration of its HE student numbers. This new post will also have a very significant role to play in ensuring that the College Group is successful in ensuring compliance with its Office for Students (OfS) registration and the many other regulatory requirements of the HE world.
This role has a focus on collaborative working with curriculum Schools across the College Group and with the range of service functions supporting the delivery of higher education courses and the experience of higher education students.
To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a level 6 (or above) qualification and have, or be willing to work towards, a management qualification. You will also have taught on higher education courses at level 4/5 along with experience of leading a successful team.
Candidates should have a good understanding of the emerging implications for the Higher Education sector of the recent changes in the regulatory environment and how the Group can translate this into effective practice
In addition, you will have experience of working collaboratively with, and influencing colleagues within a college environment to positively impact upon the development of higher education provision and student numbers, student experience, partner relationships, and regulatory requirements.
