The Governors at Bridlington School, ranked amongst the top 20 schools in the country and the top performing school in Yorkshire and The Humber for Progress 8, are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and committed Head of History to join our successful History department from January 2018. The school is located within an easy commutable distance from Hull, York and Scarborough.

You will:

  • demonstrate experience of successfully leading a curriculum team
  • have high standards of teaching and learning
  • teach History to KS3
  • teach History to GCSE and, possibly, to A Level in specialism
  • be a form tutor and support the academic and pastoral development of your tutor group.
