Ardingly College has an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced teacher to lead a well-established History department from April or September 2019. The post would suit an enthusiastic, well-qualified and talented teacher with excellent subject knowledge, innovative pedagogical thinking and strong practical and organisational skills.
The Head of History position presents a unique chance to take a well-established department in the College to new academic standards and to enhance the extra-curricular offering.
The successful candidate will have experience teaching GCSE and A Level History. The ability to teach the International Baccalaureate would be advantageous.
Participation in the school’s busy extra-curricular programme is expected of all teachers and there is considerable scope for staff to get involved in a wide range of activities.
