This is a superb opportunity for an ambitious teacher who wishes to develop their skills in preparation for a senior leadership role. Fearnhill is a very successful learning community and in 2016 was rated 9th out of Hertfordshire’s 76 secondary schools in terms of its ‘Progress 8’ score of +0.49. Ofsted recognised in June 2015 that “Attitudes to learning are positive. Students interact well with their teachers and the quality of relationships in the classroom is an important factor in the increased rate of academic progress seen across the school.”

We warmly welcome visitors to our friendly and successful school; please contact Jacqui Simmonds to arrange a visit or call Liz Ellis, Headteacher, on 01462 621200 for more information. Fearnhill School is committed to recruiting with care and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people; we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
