A well-qualified, enthusiastic Head of Computing is required to work in our lively, innovative and academically selective Prep school. The successful candidate will have an appropriate academic background and experience teaching children across Years 3-6 in KS2. Applicants will also have experience teaching KS3 as the successful candidate will be required to teach Computing 2 days in Latymer Upper School. Alternatively, there may be an option for this to be a part-time role, three days a week solely in the Prep School, teaching Years 3-6. Candidates should hold Google Certified Educator Level 1 and 2 and will preferably be a qualified Google Trainer. 

Applicants should have a teaching and learning philosophy in line with our growth mindset approach, nurturing independence of thought and academic success within the security of a strong pastoral care system. Applicants should be committed to excellence and maximising the academic and personal achievement for all pupils.

In addition to leading the digital learning in the Prep, the role will include supporting some small Maths groups alongside Prep School Maths teachers.

Interviews will be held remotely on either August 17th or 18th.

Candidates will be asked to prepare and talk through lesson plans in place of a practical observation.
