The Role – Head of Junior School Drama (with primary English and Humanities)

 An enthusiastic and adaptable Head of Junior School Drama is required for an August 2023 start. The post holder will lead Drama teaching and co-curricular provision across the Junior School. They will also be a Year 6 form tutor teaching English and Humanities to their own class.

The right candidate will be a highly committed team player with the drive, energy and passion to help develop this forward-looking school. They will be internationally minded and excited to work with a culturally diverse range of colleagues and children. Applicants must be willing to lead by example and play a full part in the College’s pastoral care and co-curricular programme. The successful candidate will lead various Drama CCAs and direct certain performances themselves. They will also lead co-curricular drama provision across the Junior School and build capacity in other teachers who contribute to this programme.

The Junior School 

Our Junior School caters for 880 enthusiastic learners aged between 7 and 11. Everything we do is underpinned by a culture of safety and wellbeing for all members of the community. We build upon the excellent foundations laid in DUCKS, and develop a depth of academic knowledge, as well as the life skills and mindset needed to prepare students for the best possible success in our Senior School. We want children to leave Year 6 as motivated, independent and collaborative learners.
