THE ROLE
The Head of the Junior School at Wellington College International Pune will inspire pupils and staff through their leadership in delivering the strategic objectives of the College. She/ He will work with colleagues and pupils in order to support outstanding outcomes academically, pastorally and professionally. The Head of Junior School is expected to play a key role in the strategic development of the College as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), supporting the Master. Wellington College International Pune is seeking an experienced Head of Junior School to lead the learning and teaching of pupils from 6 to 11 years. We are looking for a candidate who understands collaboration and the importance of meaningful relationships to strive for excellence in both their own professional development and for first class provision for all of our pupils. Successful candidates will have the energy, experience, and passion to help realize our academic, physical, personal and social aspirations. The Head of Junior School will be reporting to the Master.

About Wellington College International Pune
Wellington College International Pune (WCI Pune) is the eighth in the Wellington College International family and the first of several planned for India. Although initially a day school, WCI Pune is intended to be a coeducational day and boarding school for 800 pupils between the ages of 2-18. In the first phase of development, the School opened in September 2023, at the outset for Pre-Nursery (age 2) to Year 9 (age 14) in the Senior School. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and the English National Curriculum. In August 2024 we aim to introduce IGCSE qualifications.
