Toowoomba Grammar School seeks to appoint our next Head of Junior School to start in January 2023.

Established in 1875, Toowoomba Grammar School is a non-denominational Prep to Year 12 boys’ school with a reputation for educational excellence and developing good character that stays with our boys for life. Located on our beautiful, tree-lined campus, our Junior School has its own extensive learning and play facilities for around 300 boys.

Our priority is to ensure that the Junior School is a joyful place of exceptional learning. We want our boys to be excited by school and to experience a breadth and calibre of opportunities that will stimulate their desire to learn. Academic rigour sits alongside impressive pastoral care and cocurricular programs. Community is everything at Toowoomba Grammar School, and the Junior School’s strength lies in our dedicated staff working in partnership with our students and their families.

Reporting to the Headmaster, the Head of Junior School will be highly visible, forging a warm and inclusive culture that is centred on the needs of the boys, supporting staff in their learning and growth, and enacting our recently launched strategic plan in the Junior School.
