Job overview

Cumberland Community School is a large and popular community school in East London. We would like to appoint someone who is passionate about their subject and enjoys teaching.

As Head of Learning you will work effectively with students, parents and staff to ensure that they achieve the very best outcomes possible. You will also work with a supportive and dedicated pastoral team to develop and maintain outstanding pastoral support systems for our students that uphold the school's ethos and values.

We offer excellent staff support and leadership development, good career progression opportunities and a friendly and dedicated approach to school leadership.

We are a forward-thinking school that has dispensed with formal lesson observations, retrospective book marking and written student exam reports whilst maintaining very high standards of care and outcomes. Behaviour is outstanding and the students are keen to progress and are used to working hard.

We prefer candidates who are organised, friendly, and who possess a positive work ethic. Having a few good ideas is always welcome.

If you join us you will be part of a structured, committed and hardworking team that will look after you and help you progress in your career.

Please visit our website https://www.cumberlandcst.org/ for more information about the school. Your application is a direct application to the CST.
