We are seeking a well qualified and experienced person to lead and develop Learning Support within the school. The position is part-time (0.5) and there is a requirement to be available for work every day to meet the needs of the business, there will be a degree of flexibility in working hours per day.
As Head of Learning Support and SENCo you will be an excellent communicator and be driven to take responsibility for the leadership and development of this key area of school. You will have focus on the vision, policy and culture of the department, the quality of educational experience offered to pupils and establishing the department within the whole school community. You will be a motivational leader responsible for the personal and professional welfare of staff within the department.
You will have experience of administering and interpreting a range of standardised literacy assessments, interpreting diagnostic reports and have the ability to use IT as a resource for both teaching and administration. As part of the role you will be willing to contribute your ideas, time and commitment to the success of the department and whole school.
