Job overview
Our client is a highly reputable British International School seeking an experienced Learning Support Professional to become their Head of Department.
This would suit an experienced SENCO, or Head of Learning Support in a Secondary Environment; or someone who has extensive experience of working in Special Needs but has only just taken theirTeaching Qualification, so is about to embark on their NQT year.
This is an outstanding position in an amazing school.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for running the department, implementing SEND provision and monitoring student progress. They will manage and support the team to raise standards and improve student outcomes.
There may be some teaching timetabled, so the ability to teach a secondary subject would be an advantage.
