The Opportunity

King’s College Riyadh is seeking to appoint outstanding Head of Learning Support. This is an exceptional and rare opportunity for someone who has the qualities, skills and experience to develop King’s College into the leading British curriculum school in the city.

The School

King’s College Riyadh is Saudi Arabia’s first, premium, British school established in partnership with a prestigious UK brand. This will be a genuine partnership with King’s College UK, who have been educating students for over 140 years. Set on a well-situated campus in the north west of Riyadh, students and teachers at King’s College benefit from first-class facilities for both academic and co-curricular learning.

The school is committed to enabling each and every child within our care to achieve his or her full potential so that they can benefit from a King’s College Riyadh education. The role is to build and maintain a successful a high-quality inclusion programme to ensure that children are supported to access the curriculum and make outstanding progress. For the coming academic year this will cover Pre-school to Year 4. 

The Person

The successful candidate will be someone who: 

  • can deliver targeted individual and small group lessons to cater for the learning needs of specific children or groups of children, initially for 3 to 9 year olds. 
  • can support specific children in different classes and lead a team of Learning Support Assistants. 
  • will contribute to the co-curricular programme and whole-school activities in a committed and enthusiastic manner. 
  • will work co-operatively and supportively with all members of staff. 
  • has a growth mindset and prepared to go the extra mile. 
  • has an undergraduate degree, teaching qualification and QTS.

About King's College Riyadh

King’s College is the first UK private school brand to open a branch campus in Saudi Arabia. It is a genuine partnership with King’s College UK, who have been educating students both from the UK and abroad for 140 years.

Following a hugely successful start in 2021, King's expanded in August 2023 to Year 5, and will eventually open through to Year 13 (age 18) to ensure pupils can complete their full school education at King’s in Riyadh.
