An exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner of educational and digital technologies to influence and lead digital developments across the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST); the leading network of independent girls’ schools in the UK.
The GDST is at the forefront of girl’s education. As Head of Learning: Technology and Innovation, based within the Innovation & Learning team at Trust Office, you will ensure this continues. The team exists to support GDST schools and academies in designing and delivering an outstanding education, promoting creative, collaborative, innovative and effective approaches to teaching and learning.
You will lead on the innovative use of learning technologies in schools; promoting the creative use of new media resources and digital technologies, with the effective design and use of teaching and learning spaces, and supporting and facilitating teaching collaborations between schools.
You will also lead on the development and implementation of the group’s digital strategy for education, coordinating the work of digital leaders in schools.
We are looking for someone with experience in a leadership position with exemplary skills in using technology for educational purposes and knowledge of educational technology developments and futures and the pedagogical application of digital technologies.
