We’re currently looking for a well-organised and self-motivated individual to take responsibility for the marketing of the College in order to promote Wellington and its family of schools dynamically and effectively.
As Head of Marketing, we'll rely on you to maintain and develop Wellington’s already strong visual identity and brand and ensure brand consistency across all platforms and College activity. You’ll also need to build strong links with a variety of stakeholders and carry out regular market research to ensure the College remains fully in tune with changes in current markets.
Working closely with the agency that produces key marketing materials, advertising campaigns, social media content, videography, and photography scheduling will be important too. So will co-ordinating weekly e-communications to parents and working with local, national and international press agencies to ensure regular coverage of Wellington news stories. And, when it comes to helping to promote the College’s commercial activities and internal events, again, we’ll count on you.
As well as a relevant first degree, you have proven experience in marketing, communications and/or PR and a track record of raising the awareness and reputation of an organisation and working with, and leading, a team. You’re also adept at engaging with a variety of stakeholders and have the ability to meet targets and deadlines and remain professional under pressure. What’s more, you’re a dedicated team player who strives for excellence, leads by example and approaches complex tasks with a strategic, analytical and innovative mindset. You also have empathy for boarding school life and are willing to engage with the broader activities of the College.
