Opened in September 2015, The Mount, Mill Hill International is a co-educational boarding and day school for international pupils aged between 13 and 17. The School offers a traditional British education and academic curriculum up to GCSE/IGCSE with specialist EAL teaching.
We are looking to appoint a highly effective and inspiring Head of Mathematics with a passion for teaching and the subject. The successful candidate will motivate both teachers and pupils to raise pupils’ aspirations to provide them with the best possible outcome in Mathematics.
Every Head of Department is accountable to the Head. He or she will work closely with a specific member of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the effective development and delivery of the Mathematics courses and the efficient management of the Mathematics department.

The Mount, Mill Hill International is a co-educational boarding and day school for international pupils aged 13-16. Situated in the Green Belt on the borders of Hertfordshire and Middlesex and just ten miles from Central London. Forming part of the Mill Hill School Foundation which is set in 160 acres of beautiful grounds. Weekly and full boarding is available for entry at Year 9, Year 10 and Sixth Form. Pupils from all over the world come together in an inspiring school to gain internationally recognised qualifications, a transformational educational and cultural experience.
We offer a traditional British educational experience and an academic curriculum up to GCSE/IGCSE and specialist EAL teaching. Pupils for whom English is not their first language receive English language tuition while at the same time studying a range of other subjects in order to equip them for further study whether at Mill Hill School or elsewhere. Suitable also for British pupils returning to the UK after a period abroad, Mill Hill International offers an intensive one year GCSE/IGCSE course for pupils entering Year 11 and a two year GCSE programme where students will study between 8 and 12 subjects.
